STEP 1: From the Home Screen, tap "Apps & Safety" and enter your parent password.
STEP 2: Select "Download apps".
STEP 5: Use the search bar to find the app you would like to install.
STEP 6A: Tap "Install" on the selected app.
STEP 6B: Family Link will require parental approval before the app can be downloaded.
You have two approval options:
1) Ask in person - tap "Ask in person", then enter the parent Google account password that supervises your child’s account.
2) Ask in a message - approve the request through the Google Family Link app or via the Google family link website using the supervising parent account.
STEP 7: Once installation is complete, the app will appear on the Home Screen and will be available for use. This app will now be accessible at all times.
