Follow the video tutorial or written steps below to set SafetyMode as the default home app when using Google Family Link.
STEP 1: Login to the Google Family Link website using your parent Google Account.
STEP 2: Select the "Screen time" page.
STEP 3: There is a small(!) arrow above the "Lock" button. Press this arrow.
STEP 4: Scroll to the bottom of the page, until you see "Change default apps".
STEP 5A: Set the "Change default apps" toggle to ON.
STEP 5B: When asked to "Allow SafetyMode to change default app", press "OK".
STEP 5C:You will now see the "Change default apps" toggle set to ON.
Well done! You've successfully changed the "Default home apps" setting.
