Understanding the "Block notifications for disabled apps" feature

Updated over 2 months ago

When an app is disabled through App Schedules, it will not appear on your child’s home screen and cannot be opened.

By default, SafetyMode also blocks notifications from disabled apps. This means your child won’t receive alerts from apps they aren’t currently allowed to use - helping reduce distractions.

If you’d prefer notifications to come through, you can turn this off in SafetyMode settings. Learn how to change this setting here.
