Which apps does the content filter work on?
SafetyMode’s content filters work across all apps on your child’s phone, scanning text and images wherever they appear - including messaging apps, social media, and web browsers
Does filtered content ever leave my child’s device?
For data protection, no content flagged by the filters will ever leave your child's phone.
Can my child turn off the filters?
No. Filters can only be changed using the SafetyMode parent password or by signing into the parent portal at safetymode.com.
Will filters block all harmful content?
SafetyMode’s filters are designed to significantly reduce exposure to harmful content, but no filtering system is perfect.
In addition to configuring SafetyMode’s filters, you can also use tools like Google Family Link and enable SafeSearch in your browser for added protection.

What if the filter blocks something safe?
Occasionally, content may be incorrectly flagged. This is known as a “false positive.”
We are continually improving our detection systems, and your feedback helps us refine the filters.
