FIX 1:
We highly recommend updating to the latest version of SafetyMode. The latest version of SafetyMode is optimised to be the most efficient, and therefore the least likely to cause performance issues on your child's phone.
You can update to the latest version of SafetyMode by following these steps:
Navigate to the Google Play Store on the phone by tapping "Apps & Safety" on the home screen, entering your parent password, and tapping "Download Apps".
Search for "SafetyMode".
Tap "Update".
If the update option doesn't appear, then your SafetyMode app is up to date.
FIX 2:
If updating SafetyMode does not fix the performance issues, we'd recommend turning off the 'review content' toggle under Apps & Safety > SafetyMode settings.
This will slightly reduce the accuracy of the content filtering, but will significantly increase the speed of the phone.
FIX 3:
Clear the app cache by following these steps:
Navigate to Apps & Safety and enter your parent password
Tap Restricted Android Settings
Tap Apps
Scroll and tap on SafetyMode
Tap Storage and cache
Tap Clear cache
FIX 4:
If none of the above improves your phone's performance, the device may be damaged. Please contact [email protected] with details of the problem.
