How to uninstall & reinstall SafetyMode on your child's phone

In occasional circumstances, the customer service team might direct a user to re-install SafetyMode using the below instructions.

To uninstall SafetyMode:

  1. Tap "Apps & Safety" at the bottom of the home screen and enter your parent password.

  2. Press "Restricted Android Settings".

  3. Tap "Apps", then scroll down until you find SafetyMode.

  4. Tap on the SafetyMode icon.

  5. Press uninstall.

To reinstall SafetyMode:

  1. On your child's phone, open the Google Play store and search for "SafetyMode".

  2. Tap "Download".

  3. Once downloaded, tap "Open" to open the SafetyMode app and continue to accept the on-screen permissions to set-up SafetyMode.
