How to adjust the content filter levels

Updated over a week ago

Each filter can be set to "None", "Safe", "Strict", or "Max".

To adjust the content filter level:

  1. Tap on "Apps & Safety" on the home screen and enter your parent password.

  2. Tap "Content Filters".

  3. In the "Filters levels" tab, set the filter toggle to the preferred level.

Both the "Safe", "Strict", and "Max" filters scan content in the same way.

The "Safe" filter will block material that is very clearly explicit.

The "Strict" filter will block material that is more broadly considered harmful.

The "Max" filter applies a stricter standard and may also block more revealing or borderline content, such as lingerie, swimwear, or high levels of exposed skin.
