How to adjust the content filter levels

Each filter can be set to an age rating, similar to that of a film. The ratings are "Age 8", "Age 12", and "Age 15". The filters can also be turned off completely.

To adjust the content filter level:

  1. Tap on "Apps & Safety" on the home screen and enter your parent password.

  2. Tap "Content Filters".

  3. In the "Filters levels" tab, set the filter toggle to the preferred level.

All of the filters scan content in the same way.

The "Age 8" filter applies a stricter standard and may also block more revealing or borderline content, such as lingerie, swimwear, or high levels of exposed skin.

The "Age 12" filter will block material that is more broadly considered harmful.

The "Age 15" filter will block material that is very clearly explicit.
