SafetyMode setup guide (1/2)

When installing SafetyMode you will be asked to grant SafetyMode access to certain permissions on your Other phone or Android device.

Please note that the steps are performed on the Nothing 3(a)Lite and Android settings may differ slightly on other devices.

STEP 1: Ensure your phone is connected to Wi-Fi or mobile internet.

STEP 2: A 'Welcome to SafetyMode' page will appear. Accept the terms and conditions box and press 'Begin permissions'.

STEP 3: SafetyMode requires system permissions to actively monitor content on your phone. Press 'Start' to begin giving SafetyMode permissions.

STEP 4A: Give SafetyMode accessibility access by pressing 'Enable'.

STEP 4B: Press 'Agree & Enable'.

STEP 4C: Press 'Start SafetyMode AI', under 'Downloaded apps'.

STEP 4D: Press the toggle next to 'START SafetyMode AI'.

STEP 4E: Allow 'START SafetyMode AI' by pressing allow.

Step 5A: SafetyMode needs to be set as the default home launcher. Press 'Set as Default'.

Step 5B: Press 'Agree & Set as Default'.

Step 5C: Select SafetyMode from as the default home app.

Step 6: Allow SafetyMode to have contacts permissions - press ‘Allow’. Then, press 'Allow' again in the pop-up.

Step 7: Allow SafetyMode to have location access - press ‘Allow’. Then, press ‘Whilst using the app’ in the pop-up.

Step 8: Allow SafetyMode to have Phone Access - press ‘Allow’. Then, press ‘Allow’ in the pop-up.

Step 9A: Allow SafetyMode to have notification access, press "Allow".

Step 9B: Press "SafetyMode" on the 'Notification read, reply and control' page. You may need to scroll down the screen to find "SafetyMode".

Step 9C: Give SafetyMode 'notification access' by moving the toggle on.

Step 9D: Press "Allow".

Step 10A: Allow SafetyMode to have app usage access - press 'Allow'.

Step 10B: Scroll down on the next page, press 'SafetyMode'. You may need to scroll down the screen to find SafetyMode.

Step 10C: Permit usage access by pressing the toggle on.

Step 11A: Allow SafetyMode to have overlay permissions - press 'Enable'.

Step 11B: Scroll down on the next page, press 'SafetyMode'. You may need to scroll down to the screen to find SafetyMode.

Step 11C: Give SafetyMode access to 'Display over other apps' by pressing the toggle on.

Well done! You've now completed the SafetyMode Permissions set-up!
